Most cars are scrapped at the end of their lives but a select few – on view in Pruszków, Poland – swim against the current by being born AT the scrap heap.
Did you know the word “parks” read backwards is “skrap”? OK, so we’re stretching the metaphor but a cool collection of art cars seeks to turn the typical automobile lifespan on its head.
From scrap metal they were born and to the scrapyard they will go when they die… it’s the Great Circle of Life, automotive style! And while these days much of the steel, copper and aluminum used to build cars comes from recycled metal, these er, scrappy art cars cut out the meltdown middleman and go from scrap metal to sculpture in one fell swoop.
