Porpoises With A Purpose

Could we call this a multi-porpoise recycle bin? Cringe all you want but this Brazilian installation is attention-grabbing to say the least. Accepting (from left to right) paper, metal, plastic and glass, the bin complex might not be very large but it does a great job of inviting passers-by to toss in their recyclables… you know you want to! Oh, and make sure you don’t toss any recyclables to actual dolphins, mmmkay?

Don’t Pollute, Be Happy

This frog-like trio of recycling bins in Vienna, Austria is further brightened by the colorful mural on the wall just behind. We’re guessing the text reads “Glücklich Sien” in its entirety, which translates to “Be Happy” whereas “Lücklich Sien” means “Be Luckly”. Of course, maybe that’s just a lucky guess on our part, which would make us very happy.
