The Horn Bike

(image via: fruit shop)

Resembling a bike horn, this handy product is actually an iPhone bike mount and speaker in one. It’s a silicone sleeve with a velcro strap that secures it to the handlebars, and the ‘horn’ actually makes sound from your phone 13 decibels louder. You could listen to music, or use it for GPS.

Bad Beetle Case

Beetles are rapidly destroying thousands of square miles of pine forest, killing trees and causing increased forest fires due to all that dead wood. But some of that wood is being put to use in a beautiful and innovative way – made into natural and recycled iPhone cases. Each ‘Bad Beetle’ case has a unique design left behind by the beetles that killed the tree that the wood came from, and closes with a piece of recycled fire hose.

SkateBack

Layers of post-industrial skateboard waste are glued together into colorful, cheerfully striped recycled iPhone cases. ‘SkateBacks’ are a collaboration between Grove Made and MapleXO, with scraps sourced from manufacturer PS Stix, which builds over 4,000 skateboards a day.

Pulpop Speakers

Sound doesn’t typically travel well through paper, but the manufacturers of the Pulpop designed this recycled cardboard speaker in an unusual round shape to help dispense the sound effectively.
