Now in its 13th year and displaying a patriotic Lady Liberty theme, the Lyman Orchards Corn Maze spreads over 4 acres and features 2 miles of pathways. “The corn maze has become one of Connecticut’s most visited seasonal attractions,” according to John Lyman III, whose family has owned and operated the farm since 1741. “This uniquely disorienting experience has been enjoyed by more than 350,000 visitors since it’s inception in 2000.”

Last year’s maze was a true labor of love, especially if one’s love is America’s Pastime, baseball. The sprawling field of dreams was the work of Brett Herbst, considered to be the country’s leading agricultural maze designer, and featured the logos of Major League Baseball’s greatest rivals: the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.
Sever’s Corn Maze, Shakopee MN

Speaking of patriotic themes, they don’t get more red, white & blue (but mostly green & yellow) than Sever’s Corn Maze in Shakopee, Minnesota. Sever’s has been growing amazing corn mazes for 17 years and each autumn a different maze appears to confuse and delight visitors. Cagle’s Family Farm, Canton GA

Cagle’s Family Farm, located just north of metro Atlanta in Cherokee County, Georgia, has been adding fun to fall for 13 years. The farm takes pride in creating the biggest corn maze in the state, sprawling over 56 acres of prime farmland. According to the Cagle’s Family Farm website, “the most direct route through the MAZE can be walked in about 45 minutes, but most wandering MAZE-goers will require about an hour to poke along the more than 3 miles of paths.” Well, wandering maze-goers, are you up to the challenge?
