The Verminators: 7 Amazing Amusing Pest Control Signs

Man’s Pest Friend

The Verminators: 7 Amazing Amusing Pest Control Signs

One man’s pets may be another man’s pests but either way, you’d best keep ’em the heck outta Harbin, China! Kudos to Flickr member Fredrik Rubensson for capturing this amusing “Engrish” sign that might not actually advertise a pest control service – or a pet control service, whatever. Just a pest peeve of ours.

We Never Rats

We don’t want to cast any aspersions on A&A Pest Control but their sign above, from Portland, OR, makes us wonder. Specifically, do they employ rats to remove other, lower forms of vermin? Not that there’s anything wrong with that – reform and rehabilitation and all that. It’s just that… well, what’s going to happen when the rats have exterminated all the roaches? Will they bring in feral cats to control the rats, and dingos to clear out the cats, and gorillas to wipe out the dingos and… hope the gorillas die off over the winter? Just wondering’. Party On!

You gotta love Ford’s Hometown Services of Worcester, MA. Not only are they “your Environmental Pest & Lawn Professionals”, they also host birthday parties! Enjoy pesticide-free (hopefully) cake while playing “pin the tail on the cockroach”. Flickr member Troy B. Thompson won’t be considered a party pooper for posting the photo above in February of 2013.

Exterminated

The Verminators: 7 Amazing Amusing Pest Control Signs

Too soon? OK, so the last Tasmanian Tiger passed away in 1936 and the distinctively-striped marsupial carnivores were deemed to be pests while they were extant. Perhaps some remnant of that mentality remains in and around Hobart, capitol city of Tasmania. That’s where the above sign (or graffiti, it’s hard to tell) was snapped – by Flickr member Paris Buttfield-Addison, in May of 2013. Not really the way anyone would want to see a Thylacine: up close and poisonal.
