Give credit to Ocean-Teabag’s founder/owners, they’ve left no stone un-turned in their efforts to make their animalistic teabags noticeable and notable. Creatures from cute (kitty-cats) to endangered (sea turtles) to grotesque (giant isopods) have been given the tea bag treatment. Take the “Devon” (for Devonian Era) series of prehistoric being bags that allows today’s tea-drinkers to dunk a Dunkleosteus, infuse an Anomalocaris, sip on a Coelacanth or temper a Trilobite.
Bagging Rights
OK, we get it: tea is not everyone’s, er, cup of tea. Not YET, at least. Global warming and the effects of climate change do not bode well for the cultivation of coffee in coming decades so tea – the other naturally caffeinated beverage – may end up winning over java junkies. What better way to defect to the other team then with cool-looking, good-for-the-environment, delicious-tasting tea from animal-shaped tea bags? Anyone? Bueller?
