CHEW is made mainly from lightweight, non-corrosive and non-toxic aluminum. It’s designed to be easily disassembled into two parts for enhanced portability, and its recycled plastic case fits neatly into a pocket or purse. When you’ve sipped to your limit, just rinse the straw, pop the pieces back into its case, and “spin-dry” the case using the handy, molded-in ring to remove leftover moisture.

When CHEW hits the retail market it’s expected pricing will average around $16.80 per straw – a small price to pay for convenience AND an environmentally-positive lifestyle. “We believe that being eco-friendly is easy if you are given the right tools,” confirm the straw-designing trio. “By injecting a little fun and insanity into everyday problems, we can find the solution to save the world in our own little ways.” Doesn’t sound crazy to us at all, and should we get the chance to meet these guys we’ll be happy to buy ’em a straw-sippable drink.
