The nifty and nattily-named French Fry Holder from PILOT not only looks intimidatingly awesome in all-black, it “fits perfectly into your vehicle’s cup holder” – stated plainly with NO need to exaggerate! The design improves on Burger King’s FryPod by crafting the body from durable, washable and reusable plastic, plus its distinctively flared mouth will accommodate the rounded-rectangular cardboard or paper fries containers used by most fast food chains. PILOT to co-PILOT… pass the fries!
Pizza Potato Chip Grabber

The Pizza Potato Chip Grabber wasn’t developed to SELL pizza, potato chips, pizza-flavored potato chips or other slippery, powdery, seasoned snack foods, which differentiates it from most of the fast food gadgets discussed here. Instead, Japanese foodstuffs giant Calbee developed this anthropomorphic plastic claw in response to a little-known but seemingly common problem among computer users, especially gamers: snacking and gaming at the same time results in greasy, oily computer mice, joysticks and game controllers. The elegantly designed though cumbersomely named Pizza Potato Chip Grabber acts as an extension of the snacker’s hand when used for snacking, leaving actual hands clean and residue-free. Let the games (and the snacking) begin!
KFC’s Go Cup

Inspired perhaps by BBQ Chicken’s Col-Pop, KFC rolled out their ingenious Go Cup in the fall of 2013. The Go Cup features a reusable covered cup that can hold a variety of hot foods but its key feature is the base designed to be accommodated by car, truck and minivan cup holders.

Did you know 53% of car-owners aged 18-32 would be more likely to eat in their cars if the food container could fit in their cup holder? KFC did, and now they’ve done something about it. KFC’s Go Cup aims to fill a perceived cup holder gap: it seems Americans are using their vehicles’ cup holders for a variety of non-purposes and this simply cannot be allowed to continue!
Del Taco’s Universal Drinks Cup

“Another reason to love Del Taco!,” states Flickr member Peter Kazanjy in reference to the beloved fast food chain’s unique and universal soft drink cups. “Their mega-cups are entirely conical, thereby ensuring they work with a larger number of cup holders,” he adds, and the image above doesn’t lie. One might wonder about the stability of these “friendly” mega-cups when set on flat table tops and other such surfaces but hey – uber-mobile ‘Muricans don’t let their fast food food & drink last long enough to require placement out of the car, amiright?
