JELL-O Pumpkin Spice Instant Pudding? Shut up and take my money! One caveat, however, as the package plainly states the pumpkin spice is an “artificial flavor”. Also on the box is “SEASONAL RELEASE!”, meaning if you don’t purchase and partake RIGHT NOW you’ll be regretting your reticence for a whole ‘nother year. Yep, first world problems, but they’re real problems to me, darnit! As Angie of Angie’s Southern Kitchen states, “I love the flavor of pumpkin but I am not real crazy about pumpkin pie,” a sentiment shared by many others as well. Solution? Reviewers possibly expecting the same sort of sugary punch in the mouth provided by Hershey’s Pumpkin Spice Kisses seem disappointed that M&M’s version of the autumnal flavor is much more mild and subdued. Well, you could always eat more of ’em then: a bag goes for just $2.66 at Target stores.

Is it possible to go too far with a seasonal flavored snack? If the answer is yes and an example is required, consider any one of Pringles holiday flavors: Pumpkin Pie Spice, White Chocolate Peppermint and Cinnamon & Sugar… Pringles are potato chips (well, sort of) by the way. Introduced with much fanfare in November of 2012, the curious chips met with reactions ranging from “surprisingly not revolted” for Pumpkin Pie Spice Pringles to “horrible abomination to humanity” for the White Chocolate Peppermint flavor. If the lesser of the three evils is on your radar, be advised they’re exclusively sold by WalMart.
