The nice folks at Hilliard’s Beer, a community-oriented microbrewery and taproom located in Seattle’s historic Ballard neighborhood, generously donated some vacant space in their production warehouse so that goCstudio’s designers could construct the sauna room.

The wa-sauna project would not have been possible without support from the local community and a successful crowdfunding campaign. In addition, goCstudio benefited from the spirit and enthusiasm of a wealth of talented volunteers who brought their close connections to the architecture community and some creative construction skills to the table. Work can be fun knowing there’s a light – from a floating sauna’s wood-burning stove, perhaps – at the end of the tunnel. (images and info via ©WENN.com and goCstudio)
