EDITT Green Tower, Singapore

Green city planning doesn’t get much simpler than this. This design was custom-made for Singapore, and it will provide the city center with a beautiful, living building. The 26-story building will feature photovoltaic panels, a biogas generation plant and natural ventilation along with its impressive living wall. The exterior green wall covers half of the building and provides natural shade, energy efficiency and air filtration. The building’s graywater recycling system will provide approximately 55% of the needed water, while the solar panels will provide nearly 40% of the building’s energy. EDITT (Ecological Design In The Tropics) was designed by TR Hamzah and Ken Yeang.
