Huge Cave Home, Festus, Missouri

Subterranean homes can come in practically any size and shape. This enormous mansion was made in an existing cave in the small town of Festus, Missouri. Before it was a private residence, the cave was used as a concert hall and a skating rink, among other things. The owners say it’s quite comfortable, and because of the home’s unique characteristics they pay extremely little for utility bills.
