Underground House, Great Ormside, Cumbria, UK

Designed by architect John Bodger and located in an old quarry, this spectacular underground home is the dream project of Phil and Helen Reddy. It was built for them in 2002 and takes advantage of natural light and insulation to make the home beautiful, environmentally-friendly, and comfortable.
