VF-Type O Concept by Oliver Forester

When Oliver Forester looks at the rising population and aged agricultural system, he sees the makings of a global crisis. His answer to at least part of the problem is vertical farms. His design looks not only at the production of food inside of the building, but at optimal placement of the building itself. Vertical farms have to be situated in the right place to make them as effective as possible, and at least part of Forester’s expertise is in identifying the best places for these urban food sources.
