Project Green, Austin, Texas

Mithun Group has been a top name in sustainable design for a long time, and their Project Green proposal for downtown Austin doesn’t disappoint. They want to turn a decommissioned water treatment plant into a dynamic neighborhood that will be water and carbon-neutral. When completed, the project will encompass a whopping 2.5 million square feet of residential, office, retail and hotel space and will be the largest single development in the area. Sound overly ambitious? If anyone can pull it off, it’s Mithun.
