Re:Vision Dallas Winning Design "Forwarding Dallas"

In May 2009, a competition was opened up to designers. The call was to design the most sustainable city block possible, and the prize (besides a cash award) was the chance to see that design come to life. This winning design from Atelier Data and MOOV includes vegetation-covered hillsides, apartments, a cafe, a gym, a daycare facility, and many other public spaces. Dallas city officials are excited about the project, and construction is set to begin in early 2011.
