Midori no Tobira Green Door Garden

Designed for the 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower show, Midori no Tobira (which means “green door”) displays just how much flexibility designers have when coming up with a green roof or wall design. This conceptual project is from Kazuyuki Ishihara and was designed as a Japanese roof garden to withstand the heavy sun and winds it would encounter in that application.
