These are all exciting innovations and advances in renewable energy technology. I'm most inspired by the Danish family who are producing their own electricity from wind turbines, I've been actually planning to do the same at home for some time now.

The problem of transmission has always been a bottleneck in renewable energy projects. Perhaps these innovations will very shortly make it possible for hundreds of small, efficient, and localized (within cities and towns) green power sources that will not be reliant on government or large corporations to build those expensive transmission lines.
