Seychelles Magpie Robin

Although they live for almost 15 years, the Seychelles islands almost saw this awesome bird die out. At one point there were only 16 left mostly due to the introduction of predators and habitat destruction. Scientific and conservation efforts have successfully pulled the bird from the jaws of extinction. Seychelles magpie robin is now endangered instead of critically endangered, but they’re not quite out of the woods yet.
