Puaiohi
The Puaiohi is a cute little bird with a cute little name. Its plumage is mouse brown and its feet are pink. The puaiohi has always been considered rare, but now it’s almost completely wiped out. Unfortunately, it’s endemic to Hawaii. Hawaiian birds have faced a lot of problems with predatory rats, invasive plant species, and competition with non-native, bigger thrushes.
