Off the coast of California wave power farming is set to go commercial. The projected result? An offset of 250 tons of CO2 emissions annually from the energy generated by this alternative and renewable method. The buoys are designed to ride the waves and use the regular and repeating pattern of surface movement to generate electricity internally.
