Geothermal Powered Building Complex

Departing from the traditional paradigm of free-standing structures which marked 20th-century construction, architect Stephen Holl chose to interlink this architectural design – and to integrate a series of incredible sustainable strategies in the process. In addition to green roofs on each part of the complex 600 geothermal wells will be sunk along with the building footings.
