Harebrained schemes include: inducing volcano explosions, harnessing the power of tornadoes, radioactive light bulbs, and infecting cows with kangaroo bacteria in order to reduce methane emissions.
Granted, some of the suggestions are a little ridiculous, such as burying pollution in the ocean!? However I think that one might be surprised to see how many of these ideas might actually become reality in the future. With an increasing need to change our ways, these ideas may seem ridicuolous, but they might be some of our only options.
